Accounting Manager (m/f/d)

Overview
At Aleph Alpha, we are shaping Europe's AI landscape - and over the next months, we are significantly growing our team. As part of our growing, we are now looking for an Accounting Manager (m/f/d) who will be responsible for maintaining and controlling all accounting activities within Aleph Alpha. In
particular accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as being responsible for P+L. This role reports directly into the Head of ​Finance & Controlling.
Your responsibilities
  • Manage the whole accounts payable and receivable process
  • Manage the B/S and P/L reconciliation, accruals and provisions
  • Looking after the month-end closing activities and reporting
  • Responsible for the year-end annual accounts closing process and audit coordination
  • Ensuring Data quality
  • Support for external service providers and internal functions
  • Assist in external audits and internal control processes
Your profile
  • You have a degree in or related to Finance/Accounting
  • You have at least 3+ years experience in accounting, auditing or tax advisory
  • You are flexible and able to cover a broad range of finance tasks
  • You have advanced Excel skills
  • You got GAAP and tax knowledge
  • You are diligent, detail oriented and able to work autonomous
  • You got a good level of English, fluent German
