System Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

Your profile
  • You have solid and proven Linux expertise with several years of experience as a system engineer 
  • You have experience with automating processes 
  • You enjoy to designing, configuring and automating new Linux systems and to manage demanding challenges with confidence 
  • You are familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of Ansible plus to some practical experience using it 
  • You are familiar with at least one common automation solution (Puppet, Salt)  
  • You have experience with Bash scripting and/or Python 
  • You are familiar with networks and with notions like BGP, DNS, DHCP and IPv6  
  • You are independently driven, proactive, reliable team player 
  • You are goal-oriented and future-oriented person and are not afraid to break new ground and learn from your mistakes 

Your Skills 

  • You have experience with Deep Linux  
  • You have experience in networking security 
  • You have basic knowledge in SSH, Windows, basis network and MSOffice 
  • You have excellent teamwork, commitment, flexibility, reliability, initiative and communication complete your profile 
  • You have good analytical skills 
  • You are flexible to work occasionally on Weekends 
Your responsibilities
  • Monitoring and managing all installed systems and infrastructure 
  • Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software 
  • Establish, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools 
  • Install and configure operating systems 
  • Ensure constant availability of technical resources
  • Design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety 
  • Write custom scripts 
  • Designing and testing automation equipment and processes plus to programming new automated components 
  • Identifying quality issues and writing reports
